Beit Kaima

For over a decade, Kaima has championed our unique "Farm as Classroom" approach to connect to disenfranchised individuals through hands-on farming, reconnecting them to something profoundly meaningful. As this approach gains recognition, and as community-led farming plays a growing role in sustaining Israel's food supply, the need to connect people to the agricultural systems they rely on has become increasingly clear.

Beit Kaima will allow us to lead this movement on a national scale.

Built with green technologies on two additional acres adjacent to our fields, Beit Kaima will be our packing house, our home, and the place where professionals from across Israel come to learn social farming.

Here, we will train educators, social change makers, and others who connect people to their communities through sustainable farming. We will also adapt our methodology for the many populations who benefit from it, including vulnerable youth, people recovering from drug and alcohol dependency, survivors of abuse, individuals with special needs, and people living with the lasting effects of trauma.

Beit Kaima will be built in two phases. We are currently seeking funding for this initiative, and naming opportunities are available.
