How to get to Kaima Farm

directions-ENG

Via Waze Mobile App

  • Please look for קיימא החווה בבית זית, on the WAZE app.

  • Waze will likely take you through Beit Zayit village.

  • We suggest you park in the middle of  “Derech Hagefen” street where you will see on your right a sign to "kaima". This will lead you to a path to the farm (not suitable for people who have difficulty walking or baby strollers), and walk down until you see our greenhouse on your right and bear to the right along the fence. Just after that there will be a left turn to the main part of the farm.
If you have difficulty walking or coming with a baby stroller, Park at the end of “Derech Hagefen” street, just before the rubble road starts. From there walk (around 10-15 minutes) on rubble road until the T-junction where you will veer/turn to the right and continue on the main path until you see the farm on your right.

  • If Waze doesn’t take you through the village, use the directions below.

From Jerusalem – Ein Kerem

  • Drive down from road #386 (at Yad Vashem/Mount Hertzl) through the village of Ein Kerem until the roundabout (“Kerem Junction”), and turn right towards Tel Aviv. (If coming from Hadassah Hospital, turn left.)

  •  After about 150 meters, turn right towards the Ein Kerem/Ein Harim Agricultural School, and immediately turn right again towards the Beit Zayit reservoir, along a rubble road.

  • Drive on the rubble road as it curves left. It will become a paved road (left side for bikes and right side for cars). Continue until you see an informal parking area with a big tree in the middle. Park there.

  • At the end of the car park there is a grey barrier. Cross the barrier and walk on the rubble road towards Beit Zayit. The farm will be on your left.

From Tel Aviv and  Mevasseret Zion

  • At Harel Junction (Mevasseret Zion) exit highway no. 1 and turn right towards Hadassah Hospital at the traffic light. Continue straight for about 2.5 kilometers (pass the Castel neighborhood and exit Mevasseret Zion).

  • At the “Sataf” roundabout, turn left towards Jerusalem, Ein Kerem and Hadassah Hospital. Continue on this road approximately 3 kilometers.

  • Turn left towards the Ein Kerem/Ein Harim Agricultural School, and immediately turn right towards the Beit Zayit reservoir, along a rubble road.

Public Transportation

  • From Mount Hertzl/Yad Vashem, take bus no. 28/28A towards Ein Kerem Agricultural School. Get off the bus at the Ein Kerem Agricultural School and from there follow the above instructions.

  • From opposite Binyanei Hauma Jerusalem (central bus station area), take bus no. 180 and get off the bus at Beit Zayit (approximately a 10-minute ride). From there walk down “Derech Hagefen” street until you see on your right a sign to "kaima". This will lead your to a path to the farm (not suitable for people who have difficulty walking or baby strollers), and walk down until you see our greenhouse on your right and bear to the right along the fence. Just after that there will be a left turn to the main part of the farm.
If you have difficulty walking or coming with a baby stroller, walk down “Derech Hagefen” street until the rubble road. Continue on rubble road until the T-junction where you will veer/turn to the right and continue on the main path until you see the farm on your right.
