Apiary Project

As natural pollinators, bees play a vital role in plant reproduction, healthy ecosystems, and food security. Their presence or absence serves as a strong indicator of local ecosystem health. With the right funding, Kaima plan to establish a 20-hive apiary that will encourage pollination, create sustainable honey production, and provide beekeeping education for our youth, community members, and other organic farmers.

This initiative integrates seamlessly with our existing permaculture practices while generating new learning opportunities, community engagement, and revenue streams.
