Na’ama's Friends
Creating Opportunity for People with Intellectual Disabilities
Kaima Beit Zayit has launched an inspiring new initiative to provide people with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to participate in farm life, earn a salary, learn new skills, and contribute to the community.
Together with the rest of our team, they cultivate herbal tea plants from seed to sale. Led by our beloved longtime volunteer Na’ama, the group grows, harvests, dries, and blends premium teas, which are marketed through the farm’s online Pantry and sold under the Kaima label.
The undertaking isn't just about employment. Na’ama's Friends provides genuine community connections and the dignity that comes from contributing something valuable. Each participant will be a true partner in our mission of growing food for the farm’s expanding customer base.
